The story behind the art - Mountain View

The second part of my series of telling the story behind each piece of art - this one was originally called Fantasy. I called it Fantasy because it seemed like a bit of a dream world, somewhere that I would love to visit and set up camp for a while. We have always wanted to live out in the countryside amongst the trees and the wildflowers and this was almost like painting my dreams! I wanted to stick to the same colour palette as my first landscape and I think they work together as a pair so well. I love the loose brush strokes and the colourful strokes of paint in the background. How if you look close up it doesn't look like much, but from a distance you know its a view of mountains and fields.
