Spruce - Rich in vitamin C the pines of a Spruce tree can make up a warming cup of tea and provide you with enough vitamin C to cure you of scurvy! Be careful of identifying a Spruce as it is similar to the Yew which is very poisonous. You can also use the needles in compotes and mincemeats.
