Part of the Folklore Collection, Lily of the Valley is an original painting on raw canvas, painted in inks to preserve the natural texture of the canvas and give a tapestry like feel.
 
Thought to have bloomed from Eve's tears as she departed from the Garden of Eden, the Lily of the Valley also represented a 'return to happiness' during Victorian times, likely due to the arrival of the Spring season.
 
Size approximately 21cm x 28cm including raw edges or approximately 20cm x 27cm painted edge to painted edge. 
 
These paintings look beautiful framed with the raw edges on show but also look equally lovely framed with a matte hide the edges.
